Taught Dari language at the Peace Corp training center in Kabul. Worked with agriculture extension service for thirteen years, then he became member of academy of sciences. In 1990left Afghanistan for India. In New Delhi he worked with United Nations. Also he established a private business and wrote this historical novel. In 1995 he came to America with his wife and three sons”—back cover.
